Pigment Green - 7 is based on Chlorinated copper Phthalocyanine , the chlorine content varies between 13 to 15 atoms of chlorine per molecule. This corresponds to a variation in emperical formula from C32H3N8Cl13Cu to C32HN8Cl15Cu

1. IDENTIFICATION OF THE SUBSTANCE

3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

Eyes and skin :- May be irritating upon prolonged repeated contact
Ingestion:- may cause gastro-intestinal disturbance.

4. FIRST AID MEASURE
Eyes :- Flush with large amount of water for at least 15 minute, seek medical Attention if irritation persists.
Skin :- Wash with soap and water.
Ingestion :- Never give anything orally to unconscious person. Otherwise give Two glasses of water and seek medical attention.

5. FIRE- FIGHTING MEASURE
Use fire fighting measure that suit the environment. No special methods needed.
Suitable extinguishing media :- Water, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide.

6. ACCIDENT RELEASE MEASURE
Personal precautions :- Avoid making dust; contact with skin and dyes. As a general precaution: wash thoroughly after contact with pigment.

Methods for cleaning :- Vaccum clean dust with equipment fitted with Hepa Filter, or spread absorbent material. Collect into suitable container for Disposal. For large spills, licks with inner material collect spilled material for Possible salvage or disposal. Restore all large spills to environmental authorities. Wash contaminated and surface through/ with and detergent. Waste disposal Methods should be in accordance with methods set forth by local, state and Federal authorities.

Preferred storage :- Indoor, dry, store in accordance with standard approved warehousing procedures. Repair all bags immediately. Do not store with eatables.
Handling :- All handling may cause dust emission. Organize the handling in such a way, that the creation of dust is minimized. Secondary dust emission may be minimized by means of good housekeeping.

In general the product is Dusty, and as long as it has been adequately wetted, it should be packed in Well-closed containers for removal. Check the local regulations and Requirement.
